Refund Policy

Our refund policy reflects the custom, time-sensitive nature of obituary preparation, memorial design, photo restoration, memorial websites, tribute publications, and after-loss concierge services.

Refund Policy

Effective Date: June 2026

Sacred Legacy Memorial Concierge provides custom memorial, writing, design, restoration, digital, print preparation, and concierge services. All work is custom and not template-based. Because our services are personalized and often connected to immediate funeral, memorial, obituary, publication, and family deadlines, we begin work quickly once payment is made.

By purchasing services, submitting payment, approving a project, or requesting that work begin, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.

All Sales Are Final Once Work Begins

All sales are final once work begins. Due to the custom nature of our services, the time-sensitive deadlines involved, and the personalized labor required, payments are non-refundable once we have started working on your order.

Work may include consultation review, project setup, intake review, obituary writing, editing, design planning, layout creation, photo restoration, memorial website setup, file preparation, printing coordination, communication, research, or any other action taken to begin fulfilling your requested service.

Custom Work & Fast-Paced Production

Sacred Legacy Memorial Concierge does not provide template-based work. Each obituary, memorial book, tribute publication, photo restoration, memorial website, and digital design is custom-prepared for the family, loved one, service, or legacy project.

Many of our orders have strict time constraints, service dates, printing deadlines, obituary publication deadlines, or urgent family needs. For that reason, once payment is received, we may begin working immediately.

Because labor, creative work, design preparation, writing, review, and production may begin right away, refunds are not available once work has started.

Deposits Are Non-Refundable

All deposits are non-refundable. Deposits secure project time, reserve production availability, begin intake processing, and allow us to prepare for your custom service.

A deposit is not a refundable hold. Once paid, it may be applied toward the service purchased, but it will not be refunded if the client cancels, changes direction, delays the project, becomes unresponsive, or decides not to proceed.

Balance Due Within 48 Hours

Unless otherwise stated in writing, the remaining balance is due within 48 hours of work beginning.

If the balance is not paid within the required timeframe, Sacred Legacy Memorial Concierge may pause work, withhold proofs, delay delivery, suspend the project, or stop production until payment is received.

Missed payment deadlines may affect project timelines, rush deadlines, print deadlines, memorial website delivery, publication timing, or scheduled completion dates.

Digital Products Are Non-Refundable

All started and completed digital products are non-refundable.

This includes downloadable files, PDFs, obituary files, memorial websites, restored photographs, digital designs, print-ready files, tribute graphics, online memorials, digital layouts, and any other digital work prepared or delivered by Sacred Legacy Memorial Concierge.

Once digital work has started or has been delivered, no refund will be issued.

Obituary Writing, Memorial Books & Tribute Publications

Obituary writing, obituary editing, memorial book design, funeral program design, tribute publication design, keepsake layouts, and legacy preservation projects are custom services created specifically for each client.

Once work begins, these services are non-refundable. This applies whether the project is in draft form, proof form, revision stage, design stage, print preparation stage, or final delivery stage.

Photo Restoration Refunds

Photo restoration work is custom digital labor based on the condition, quality, resolution, damage, clarity, and age of the image provided.

Started and completed photo restoration services are non-refundable. Restoration results may vary depending on the original photograph submitted.

Sacred Legacy Memorial Concierge does not guarantee that every damaged, blurry, faded, torn, water-damaged, fire-damaged, or low-resolution image can be fully restored.

Printing, Physical Products & Production Orders

Once a print order is approved and submitted to production, it is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled.

Printed memorial books, funeral programs, tribute publications, keepsake items, physical memorial products, and other custom printed materials are non-refundable once approved, submitted to production, printed, shipped, delivered, or fulfilled.

If there is a manufacturing defect, the issue must be reported promptly. Remedies, if available, may be limited to correction, replacement, reprint, vendor resolution, or another option determined by Sacred Legacy Memorial Concierge or the production vendor.

Memorial Websites & Online Tributes

Memorial website expiration is based on the package purchased. Package terms, hosting periods, renewal options, and expiration dates may vary depending on the service selected.

Memorial websites, online tribute pages, obituary listings, digital memorial pages, and related online services are non-refundable once setup, design, writing, upload, development, or publication work begins.

Expired websites or online memorial services may be removed, archived, suspended, or made unavailable if the package term has ended or renewal payment has not been made.

Consultation Fees

Consultations are currently free. Sacred Legacy Memorial Concierge reserves the right to change this policy and charge consultation fees at any time.

If a consultation fee is charged, the consultation fee is non-refundable. However, consultation fees may be deducted from services obtained within 45 days of the consultation date.

Consultation fee credits are not redeemable for cash and may not be applied after the 45-day period unless approved in writing.

Client Delays, Changes & Cancellations

Refunds will not be issued because a client changes their mind, delays the project, becomes unresponsive, submits incomplete information, misses approval deadlines, changes service plans, or no longer needs the service after work has begun.

Changes requested after work begins may require additional fees. Major changes, new design direction, additional pages, rewritten content, new photos, new family details, revised service information, or changes after approval may fall outside the original project scope.

Proof Approval & Final Review

Clients are responsible for carefully reviewing all proofs, names, dates, spellings, service information, photographs, captions, obituary text, layouts, and final files before approving any project.

Once a proof, digital file, design, obituary, memorial book, print-ready file, or website has been approved, refunds will not be issued for errors, omissions, incorrect information, missing names, misspellings, or changes requested after approval.

Rush Fees & Time-Sensitive Orders

Rush fees are non-refundable once work begins. Rush services require immediate prioritization, schedule adjustments, and expedited labor.

Sacred Legacy Memorial Concierge is not responsible for delays caused by late client responses, incomplete information, delayed approvals, third-party vendors, printers, shipping carriers, website platforms, payment processors, technology issues, or events outside our control.

Third-Party Vendor Costs

Third-party costs are non-refundable once incurred. This may include printing, shipping, production, hosting, software, platform fees, payment processing, specialty products, vendor labor, or other outside costs required to complete the requested service.

If a third-party vendor offers a remedy for a defect or production issue, that remedy may be limited by the vendor’s own policies, timelines, and requirements.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By purchasing services from Sacred Legacy Memorial Concierge, clients agree to contact us first regarding any billing concern, service issue, or project concern before filing a chargeback or payment dispute.

Because our services are custom and time-sensitive, chargebacks for started work, completed work, non-refundable deposits, delivered digital products, approved files, or custom printed products may be disputed with documentation of work performed, communications, approvals, invoices, and delivery records.

Exceptions

Sacred Legacy Memorial Concierge may, at its sole discretion, offer a correction, credit, replacement, reprint coordination, partial credit, or other remedy in limited situations. Any such remedy does not waive this Refund Policy or create a right to future refunds.

Any exception must be confirmed in writing by Sacred Legacy Memorial Concierge.

Governing Law

This Refund Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from this Refund Policy, our website, or our services shall be handled in accordance with applicable California law.

Policy Updates

Sacred Legacy Memorial Concierge may update this Refund Policy at any time. Updated policies will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
